Business Week has an through editorial on the elements of a digital home. It is clearly indicating trends where consumer electronics are moving – ubiqitious entertainment and news consumption.
The same issue was also handled last with with more illustrative means by PC Magazine. And last, but not least, Apple came last week out with the challenger for the MS Mediacenter. Their FrontRow -software and the beatifully designed remote control (+ iTunes Content shop, of course) could really make this market fly…
So – my question to all of us Satama bloggers and blog readers is:
How do you see the digital home to emerge? Would you like to / could afford to buy more wired and wireless equipment to your home to consume your old and new content (music, videos, photos, texts etc.)? Is this ongoing and intensifying trend pure hype or does it have real chances to survive? What do you think?
