Emerging television consumption enviroment

Many of us are currently working on mobile television – related tasks. The phenomana is a hyped one and will have major challenges in order to be a consumer success.

I am working towards a Satama Insight for us to understand better the area of mobile television and IP-base television broadcasting. Here are couple of sneak previews, which I hope to get feedback on.

I think that the most fascinating feature of the upcoming mobile/IPTV enviroment we will have is that it transfroms television viewers preferences into more attractive television viewing experience. In addition, the VoD/multimedia RSS/multimedia search – powered environment will change the way how we consumer video content. Why to watch television programs clipped by commercials, while there is an opportunity to customise the viewing experience – also in the living room?
